Graduated with honours in electronic engineering at the University of Pavia, he has worked in the energy sector since 2001.
He started his career at McKinsey, mainly in the London office.
After obtaining an MBA at INSEAD, in France, from 1999 he worked in Vodafone Italia as Coordinator of Strategic Planning and Head of Investor Relations.
In 2001 he moved to Goldman Sachs in London, focusing on the energy sector.
From 2003 to 2007 he was Executive Assistant of the COO Generation and Energy Management in Enel, and then Head of the Italian Wholesale Electricity Market, managing both front office and back office activities.
From 2007 to 2010 he worked at CIR where he focused on the subsidiaries Sorgenia and KOS, for which he was a member of the Board of Directors, as well as for Energia Italiana.
He has been General Manager of Key to Energy since 2011, where he deals with special projects for clients with long-term forecasting needs, financial analysis, business plans, buy-side and sell-side extraordinary transactions, administrative aspects and management control.
